Details and characteristics
A very particular marble that is either grey or light blue, recalling Luserna stone; it can be cut using the “cross cut” method to reveal open fragments and crystals or by the “vein cut” to produce a streaming wood grain effect. The material was also called Grigio romano – Bardiglio Romano or Pietra di Aymavilles. Loose stones can also be used for external and internal wall stone, given its particular light and dark gray color. Can also be used to make granulated, grit and blue gray pebbles.
